Publisher’s Summary

What’s it like to be the son of the most famous wizard of all time?

James Potter thinks he knows, but as he begins his own adventure at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he discovers just how much of a challenge it really is to live up to the legend of his father, the great Harry Potter.

As if it wasn’t enough dealing with the delegates from the American wizarding school and figuring out the mysteriously polite Slytherins, James and his new friends, Ralph and Zane, begin to uncover a secret plot that could pit the Muggle and the Magical worlds against each other in all-out war.

Now, with the help of Ted Lupin and his band of merry mischief makers (The Gremlins), James must race to stop a war that could change the world forever.

His only hope is to learn the difference between being a hero and being the son of a hero, and that the face of danger isn’t always an evil one.

Stunning!

I've listened to all the HP audiobooks, Dale and Fry versions, and I have to say that Justin Sargeant did a masterful job with this! Not quite the same as either Dale or Fry, but borrowing from both I thought. Perhaps leaning towards Dale a bit. Anyway, I absolutely loved Mr Sargeant's narration! He really bought the story to life in a way I've never heard with a fanfic audiobook before. Goodness knows how they got permission to do these, but I'm sure we're all thrilled that they did! Off to listen to Curse of the Gatekeeper now! Yay!

great story

I have read not only this story but the other 3 that have been written. I do hope the 5th story get written and published so I can have that one as well. The stories are so well written they would make great movies. Just like the new Star Wars series being done you would have to have the original actors back if these stories where ever taken to the big screen.

James Potter & The Hall Of Elder's Crossing...Fantastic!

After listening to samples of the book, I was seriously intrigued and hoped that my expectations would not be dashed when I listened to the entire book. Indeed, they were not! The combination of an engaging story and a narrator who obviously enjoyed the book he was bringing to life made for a truly marvelous listening experience for both myself and my husband. I'm very much looking forward to the next book and think the release date of Halloween is so very appropriate. That was, if you remember, the date Voldemort killed Lily and James, but could not kill The Boy Who Lived. Thanks for bringing us these wonderful books!
